Certified Seed distribution

We are licensed by KEPHIS as a seed agent. Through a partnership with NPCK, we obtain certified seed orders and schedule deliveries to farmers in different counties at agreed drop points. We are also registered with the Pest Control Products Board (PCPB) as a distributor of approved agrochemicals.

Providing farm services, such as training, extension, and soil testing.

We also provide training and extension services to farmers and other value chain actors as deemed necessary. With the support of NPCK, we create partnerships with willing service providers to provide other pre-requisite services and training to farmers and other stakeholders along the potato value chain. The company has aimed to impact knowledge and services towards improving productivity, competitiveness in the market, and profitability of businesses along the value chains.

Buying, transporting, storing, and selling of ware potatoes.

we have conformed to the guidelines provided by the Agriculture and Food Authority(AFA) as a food crop dealer and have acquired the necessary licenses. Working with NPCK, farmers have been trained on the need for sorting, grading, and packaging. The farmers are informed about the varieties and sizes required by different market outlets and the prices offered.

 

Contract farming

We have been contracting farmers to produce processing varieties. The farmers have a guarantee of a market for their produce and better prices. This also gives an assurance to the processors on the availability of potatoes which enables them to project their production.
